I hate most community guys. Yeah I’ll be friendly to them and not openly be an asshole, but lets face it, most people join the community because they’re weird and that’s why people don’t like them.
Why don’t I like community guys? Here’s a few examples:
Example 1.
Community Guy (CG): Hey! How’s it going?
Me: Yeah good, how are you?
CG: Oh I’m good just finished walking my camel and now I’m off to space*
*No shit, I’m making that one up but they sometimes answer with equally nonsensical content.
Make sense you idiot, can’t you just be a normal human for once? I don’t think girls even like it, why would anyone think this was an acceptable way to communicate? RSD I’m looking at you.
Example 2.
CG: Hey! How’s it going?
Me: Yeah good, how are you?
CG: I’m awesome hey there was this girl the other week and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and this happened and so on.
Holy crap I DON’T CARE. I JUST DON’T CARE.
Example 3.
CG: Hey! How’s it going?
Me: Yeah good. Hey meet my friend *female* (subtext that she’s with me or I’m already hitting on her)
CG: *starts trying to flirt with said female*
Wow, you’re a loser. Go find your own girls to hit on. Do you not have your own girls to hit on? Well then you’re a loser. Why are you trying to leech off my work? Is it ’cause you’re a loser? Yeah probably. You’re a loser. Go away.
Okay that’s just 3 examples and I can probably go on for a bit longer but this is getting a bit long already.
How do you deal with them? Pretty simple. For the first 2 examples, just ignore. Ignore and walk away. “But this makes me look like an asshole!!” I hear you say. Well, I don’t care, I don’t like these guys anyway what do I care what they think of me.
And when they try to hit on your girls? For the longest time, my reaction was always just to ignore and either develop a jealousy thread or move on to another girl. If the girl liked me, she wouldn’t be responding to him anyway. And honestly, I didn’t care about losing a girl ’cause there’s always other ones around. But recently, it’s been getting more and more annoying as the girls have gotten hotter. What do you do?
There’s 2 options:
Be super duper awesome – but if the girl’s even half considering the switch then this would take more effort than I’m willing to put in for a girl
Inoculate/shadow lord – preferred
“Yeah he’s a really good guy but he’s really insecure about himself… he gets needy sometimes and he covers that up by being really forward with girls to the point of being creepy… be nice to him”.
