Assassins Creed: Lineage Episode 1

+35 – Wow? It finished already? It was such a good movie and had such an engrossing storyline that I just didn’t notice time flying by.

Where the Wild things are

+5 – His sister’s a mad slut
+10 – I’m bored. This kid is a loser. He likes to make things. PS. hot mum alert
+11 – Seems like everyone in his family is getting some but him. I guess he’s only like 10 though. WTF is this suit he’s wearing.
+13 – It’s no wonder he’s running away, his home life sucks. Probably ’cause he’s a loser.
+17 – I lost interest and started writing a facebook invite for a party. Why is he on a boat?
+25 – He’s telling lies to a bunch of monsters. Got balls.
+26 – This movie would be good to watch on drugs
+28 – That goat guy is creepy haha
+36 – Massive orgy
+38 – I’m waiting for him to make out with the monster
+40 – STFU monster we get it
+41 – Smart monsters stare at the sun
+42 – I’m so bored I’m going to play “Bully” and watch at the same time
+43 – lol he has the same building thing fetish
+48 – Wow they’re buiding things
+51 – Aww they start hating him
+51 – Damn I failed English in “Bully”
+52 – Endangering a child
+58 – Yeah the birds were just squeaking I don’t get why there’s all this drama. Monster with girl’s name should just man up and tell her he likes her. See what happens when you don’t man up to tell girls you like them? They get doubleteamed by TWO OWLS!
+103 – trouble with wargames? who’d have thunk it
+108 – little child has trouble running a kingdom and goes to the beach to reflect. cliche.
+109 – Yay second chapter of “Bully”!
+115 – WTf his arm is made of sand + psycho monster
+124 – I really lost interest in this movie like an hour ago. Walking a girl back to her dorm in Bully
+130 – I look up and he’s suddenly at home. Guess it’s the end of the movie.

I’ve had the mouse for over a day now and here are some of my thoughts on it.

The original settings that come with the mouse are ridiculously shit and not very well thought out. For example, there’s no middle click. The sensitivity settings for the tracking don’t go high enough and it’s very limited in functionality – really, this magnificent bit of hardware with massive potential had been reduced to a simple buttonless mouse. Kinda going backwards, don’t ya think?

I immediately installed bettertouchtool and started tweaking settings. I can now say that the magic mouse is pretty awesome.

Here’s a list of things I changed:

1. Left click is now 3-finger click. Why? When I use a mouse, my hand is usually resting completely on the mouse, which means all fingers are on the mouse. Setting left-click to left-click involved lifting my middle finger in order to click, which ended up getting tiring.

2. Right click is now 2-finger click. Same reason, now when I want to right click, I just lift my index finger.

3. Middle click is single click – but only from the middle to right of the mouse. The range for the middle click was too small so I decided to completely remove single right click (hence 2 finger right click) and now it works pretty well. No more missing middle click range.

4. 3-finger-swipe-up brings up my “alt-tab”.

5. 3-finger-swipe-down brings up finder.

6. 3-finger-swipe-right goes next in iTunes – from any program

7. 3-finger-swipe-left goes previous in iTunes.

8. Pinch zoom works like it does on an iPhone in Preview

9. 2 button tap makes movies play in Quicktime

10. 3 button tap makes Quicktime go full screen

11. Pinch zoom outwards selects all in Finder

12. Pinch zoom inwards resizes pictures to make them smaller in Finder <-- I thought this was pretty cool/geeky

So yeah it works pretty well right now. If you combine it with Quicksilver, you can pretty much set any keyboard shortcut to any recognised gesture… see this is the kind of potential the mouse has, yet wasn’t given.

After all the excitement of the last week, it’s kinda boring sitting around doing nothing.

Lets review the week:

Sunday/Monday – Can’t even remember ’cause it was too long ago.
Tues – Work/dinner/went out – wow Tuesdays can be good?
Wed – Dinner
Thurs – Sent parents off. Went out. Crazy again. Nights that are meant to end early never do.
Friday – She arrives.
Saturday – Chill bro, tomorrow’s a big day.
Sunday – Stereosonic. Bloody beetroots = amazing yet disappointing due to not playing “Awesome”. Deadmau5 = first half of set was boring as shit… the second half blew my mind.
Monday – recover from Stereosonic.
Tuesday (Today) – Got my Magic Mouse yay but bored as hell.

I’m putting in as much effort as I can to not go out tomorrow night. Bah, will have to work too. Apparently it’s really hot or something but my aircon says it’s only 26 degrees
