…and I just had to tell you all about it.
This is a camcorder that records in 1280×720. I has (apparently) ultra light sensitivity (thus would hopefully be able to record at night..) and as the name suggests, records in high definition.
Powers up in less than 4 seconds (good for instant filming) and is 3.94″ x 1.97″ x 0.63″. Small!

I bought the camera mainly because there’s a thread on RSDN with some infield footage from Vegas which used the flip mino (not HD), I saw this video and I was sold. The minoHD has better low light detection and quality!
So enough techjerking. Expect AWESOME videos for 2009!

I can’t believe that people would go in and practice things without a basic understanding of what they’re doing. Like, they think that all they need is practice and eventually they’d get it or something. Tell that to a surgeon: “You don’t need to study, just practice on your patients. You might kill them a lot in the beginning but eventually you’ll get better at not killing them!”
Idiots.
And when you want to learn something, you’d want to know who the best teachers are.
Because I’m pressed for time I’ll make this concise.
I’d understand if you would choose to go to Qball’s talk over Sinn’s talk. That is understandable, as Qball is in Sydney and Sinn is in Sydney. But to say something like, “F that! I’m going to Qball’s talk” is just STUPID. It’s like, you just don’t know what value is.
If I didn’t NEED my job right now and wasn’t going to be on holiday with my parent’s for my mum’s birthday, I’d have booked my flights to Sydney 2 hours ago. Simply said, ANYONE reading this and who has ANY idea of what I’m talking about – and has the money lying around – should go to Sinn’s talk. IT’S FREE. Return flights are UNDER 200$ right now. The talks are worth a few American grand each.
People are idiots.
