Been looking for a job. Current job sucks. They’ve hired some new people who I don’t like for what people would probably label as extremely shallow reasons. I mean, all I want is for them to maybe learn how to groom themselves a little. Is that too hard? I can’t work with such eyesores hanging around. And with the extra insult of them blocking me from enjoying my time at work.

So if anybody has a job/knows of a job etc and would like to offer it to me, I might consider it and leave my current job. They won’t even train me up anymore because apparently “[I'm] looking for a full time job and so it wouldn’t be worth [their] time training [me]“. Well, Lets see. That research assistant job that some random girl got may have caused me to consider a longer time position. I hear she’s a psych student. Hmm.

I have 19 ‘get-into-KK-for-free’ tickets. 4 of them are already taken. If anyone wants one they should contact me.

Hey, wow I haven’t updated this for a while.

I love my mobile (as expected) but it’s run into a few problems already, especially in Australia. I updated the firmware to the phone (which took 4 days of research before I was confident it wouldn’t screw anything up) and it ran magnificently. Now I have a jailbroken 1.1.3 iphone that’s unlocked.

Mobile woes in Australia come down to two things.

1.) Data plans in Australia are ridiculously expensive.
1a.) Virgin Mobile’s data plan is cheap. 10$ a month for 300mb. The rest are like 49$ a month for 100mb.
2.) Virgin Mobile won’t let me go onto a phone plan.
2a.) You can only get the data plan as a phone plan.
2b.) Because I’m apparently a student who works casual, it must mean that I cannot possibly muster up the measly ?Ǭ†?Ǭ†?Ǭ† 40$ a month it takes for the plan.

So the problem really revolves around fact that I need to get a more stable job in order to get my phone working, which I was going to do anyway. But I still think it’s retarded that they think that I couldn’t get 10$ a week. They didn’t even ask other things such as whether I still lived at home or whether someone else would be willing to sign as a backup. Blah. So no mobile internet for me for at least a week or two.

Oh yeah I should probably write something about the rest of Hong Kong. It was good, I just shopped a lot and bought a bunch of nice things. Including a 19″ monitor, which I love and adore. There’s also a TV box, a new 500gb harddrive, a bunch of armani/d&g wear, new converse, and two new paper model things that I’m going to build up and give to whoever is having a birthday/invites me/is cool.

Anyway I have a bunch of things to do like figure out new business products and finding a real job.
